THE MEDLEY BUFFET at OKADA MANILA

Have you tried the foods at the Medley Buffet in Okada Manila? It is one of the newer restaurants to find in Manila with 4.5 review from Zomato PH.  Located at Retail Boulevard, upper ground floor, Pearl wing, Okada Manila, New Seaside Drive, Entertainment City, Paranaque. Prices of foods are on the high- end side but definitely worth of your money. They cater intercontinental selection of food cuisines. You can choose from their native delicacies, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish cuisines, etc. Etc

We went here for our staycation as Isda's birthday surprise for me. I'll have my separate blog to that. I admit when it comes to money, I am that of more frugal wise kind of girl than spending and wasting it for nothing, but since Isda insisted that it will be once in a lifetime experience so, I finally gave in.

At the entrance of the restaurant, the staff will ask for your reservation seat or if you're coming as walk-in. Setting our foot inside is quite intimidating, since it's a fine dining buffet restaurant, expect that the guests are also on the higher class. Place is so cozy, with a very lit room and quite exquisite dining tables.

So let's start ourselves digging. Let's start from their seafood sections, with tiger prawns, lobsters, scallops, mussels and oysters to choose from. Find what you like and ask them to cook it whether with garlic lemon sauce, butter and other. I love shrimps so I really did not let it pass without indulging with their garlic lemon sauce. 

 

 Beside the seafood section are the sushis and sashimis, a must try in their menu. Guaranteed for its freshness.

 

 

 

There are also native delicacies from different Regions and towns of the Philippines, so if you miss your hometown delish, here is the area for you like maja, sticky rice and many more. 

Roast beefs, turkeys, pork and chickens are available to all meat lovers out there. So if you need extra protein for your body, try this section. 

For those who love cold cuts, smoked fishes and their condiments, be prepare to grab some.

For all the sweet tooth, they offer wide selections of desserts, chocolate shards, lollipops, chocolate fountain, cakes, pastries and many more. This may be the first buffet restaurant I have experienced which serves wide array of desserts. Oh my gosh! 

 

 

 

For all those body and sugar conscious, don't worry as they have fresh fruits and unsweeten desserts.

And hello to all milk tea lovers, because they also have premium milk teas to choose from. You may also try creating your all time fave halo-halo refreshment and of course they have fresh fruit juices to choose from.

Refreshments, wines and liquors are also available and included with the payment fee.

📌 From MOA, there are free shuttles going to and from the hotel. Probably 15-20 minutes interval.

RATES: 

• Breakfast (6am-10am)- 1400 pesos

• Lunch (11:30 am-3pm)- 1850 pesos

• Dinner (6pm-11pm)- 2700 pesos 

OPENING HOURS: 

• 6am- 11pm

VERDICT:

Honest to goodness, we really had a great time. It was really a sumptous dinner we had. The foods were really love at first bite and you will not ever regret visiting this place. I highly recommend this place for a family get together, once in a lifetime fine dining date or just a plain dine in experience. Worth of every penny spend!
