ANGEL'S SUNFLOWER FARM (GIRASOLES FARM), CANDELARIA QUEZON
You are my sunshine,my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies turns grey🎶 You probably wanna sing as we take a look to this sunflower farm in Quezon Province. If you are fond of yellows and sunny days, this field is waiting for you.
The Angel's Sunflower farm also called as the Girasoles farm is a four hour drive from Manila by car. It is located at the by pass road in Candelaria Quezon. So, there is now way you can miss it since it's along the highway. This place is highly noticeable due to its bright yellow colors and lushes of green.
HOW TO GET THERE:
✔️ From Manila make your way to Lucena City. You can ride either Jam or Jac Liner Buses in Cubao.
✔️ From Lucena Grand Terminal, take a bus/jeep going to Candelaria Quezon. Fare: 30-35 pesos
✔️Alight at Puregold Candelaria
✔️Ride a tricycle and tell the driver to drop you to Angel's Sunflower Farm. Fare: 40pesos
• Entrance fee: 60pesos
• Opening time: 7am- 6pm
✔️If you have a private car, the place is very accessible to waze and google maps.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
As you can see the place is very relaxing and instagrammable. So if you are looking for photos to boost your feed goals, this farm may be a great help. Its bright colors of yellows and greens is such a relief to the eyes.
You can find a maze of sunflower field wherein you can take a lot of pictures of. It is so pleasing to the eyes seeing those flowers in full bloom plus they are way taller than me. Almost all of them are bigger than my hands. So imagine yourself like thumbelina. These flowers faces only towards the direction of the sun—quite excruciating to the eyes. Be sure to wear your sunglasses.
You can spend an hour or two in the place- maze garden, photoshoot, and eating snacks.
Added to their attractions are different flowers in bloom like bougainvillas and marigolds. Inside is also a small canteen serving local foods, so take a look on their menus if you find your stomach crumbling after enjoying the field.
There is also a shop selling vegetables, potted plants, refreshments and wide array of seeds. So while taking some rest and having snacks, you can visit it if you wish to bring something home. .
There are also comfort rooms for both men and women and enough water if you want to freshen up after basking in the sun.
WHAT TO BRING:
✔️ Sunglasses for your eyes
✔️ Towels and extra shirt
✔️ Mosquito and insect repellant, there may be little insects around since it's a farm
